About Josephine

Hi my name is Josephine and I am a Santa Barbara tennis coach with over 10 years of playing experience! I just wrapped up my 2 years of eligibility playing on the Santa Barbara City College Women’s Tennis Team. Established in 1909, Santa Barbara City College is renowned as the #1 community college in the nation. I was the team captain this year and had a very successful season. I am hoping to be teaching and coaching in the Santa Barbara area now that the season is over.

I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!

I teach tennis lessons locally over at Santa Barbara City College, Dos Pueblos High School or any other private or public tennis courts that are in the Santa Barbara/Goleta/Isa Vista area within a 10 mile radius!

Private Tennis Lessons (1 Player): $90 Per Hour
Semi-Private Tennis Lessons (2 Players): $50 Per Hour Each
Group Tennis Lessons (3+ Players): $40 Per Hour Each
Hitting Only Sessions (1 Player): $80 Per Hour

*Please note that if you are interested in semi-private tennis lessons (2 players) or group tennis lessons (3+ players), you will first need to find a friend(s) to take tennis lessons with you before contacting me.
