Hello my name is Susan and I am a local San Jose tennis coach with over 25 years of playing experience and over 20 years of teaching experience! I am also a PTR Certified Tennis Professional and a 5.0 computer rated tennis player. I played college tennis at Glendale Community College and I won the 4.5 Nationals (before I was a 5.0).
My 5.0 Women’s Tennis Team won the sectionals in 2016. I currently work for Laura Kassirer Sports (Tennis) and Youth League Tennis. I have worked as a High School Tennis Coach at Aragon High School and I have worked as a tennis professional at Santa Clara Lifetime Tennis. My expertise is in both match play and live ball teaching.
I am currently offering fun private tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for most all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, your singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you!
I teach tennis lessons in the San Jose area only but I am also willing to travel up to 10 miles to a tennis court that is located close to you.
