About Orem Tennis Coach Keaton
Hi my name is Keaton and I am a fun, local Orem tennis coach with over 16 years of playing experience and over 12 years of teaching experience! Tennis has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the past 12 years, I’ve coached players of all ages and skill levels as a club tennis pro, USTA instructor, private coach and both a high school and middle school coach. My coaching philosophy follows the USTA’s holistic, athlete-centered approach: focusing on developing the whole person, not just the player. I model my tennis lessons in Orem around the 5 C’s of tennis development: Competence, Confidence, Character, Connection and Compassion.
Each tennis lesson is designed to build strong fundamentals while encouraging players to think creatively, compete with integrity, and grow both mentally and emotionally on the court. As a player, I have competed for over 15 years in high school and tournament play, most recently earning a first-place finish. Staying active as a competitor allows me to bring fresh perspective, empathy, and strategy to my coaching. Ultimately, I see tennis as more than a sport-it’s a lifelong teacher of focus, discipline, and joy. My goal is to create a positive environment where players feel challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential here in the Orem and surrounding area. I teach tennis lessons here in the Orem area but I will also travel up to 10 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located near to you!
