About Mishawaka Tennis Coach Lukas
Hi my name is Lukas and I am a local Mishawaka tennis coach with over 12 years of playing experience and over 2 years of teaching experience! I come from Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. I started training tennis at the age of 7. At the beginning of my tennis journey, I decided to compete in Croatian tournaments at an early age. In all generations from the age of 10 to the age of 18, I was among the best tennis players in my generation-always among the top 5 players. I won an incredible 21 tournaments in total. Out of those 21, I won 15 tournaments in singles and 6 in doubles. At the age of 16, I started playing junior ITF tournaments, which are the strongest tournaments at that age. I played and traveled almost all of Europe to play tennis.
My two biggest successes in those tournaments were reaching the quarterfinals of the singles and the quarterfinals of the doubles. I won a total of over 20 points. My achieved results enabled me to receive offers and tennis scholarships from various colleges all over America. With my experience playing matches at the highest level of junior ITF I can pass on my tennis knowledge. I am currently only a freshman at Bethel University here in Mishwaca and I am on the first team in both singles and doubles. I am young and promising and can pass on some new ideas that are used in modern tennis. During the summer in Croatia I trained different groups of players from children to serious players. Last thing, my UTR is 10.45 singles and also 10.80 doubles. I teach tennis lessons in the Mishawaka area but I will also travel up to 1 mile to a tennis court that is conveniently near you!
