Hello my name is Nathalya and I’m a local Miami tennis coach with over 10 years of playing experience and over 9 years of teaching experience! I am also in the process of becoming a PTR Certified Tennis Professional. Tennis is one of my biggest passions. I played in Club de Suboficiales and also in Liga de Tenis de Bogota growing up back in Colombia. When I moved to Connecticut for high school, I joined the varsity team and a non-profit organization called Norwalk Grassroots Tennis. I played and coached during the summers until I graduated from high school. In college, I joined the club tennis team and served on e-board as the head of recruitment when I was there.

I also worked part-time for after school tennis programs as the head tennis coach in our group sessions. For the past three summers, I also worked for TGA Premier Tennis in Washington, DC where I was head coach and taught countless lessons to toddlers, juniors and adults of all ages/skill levels. I have lived in Davie, Florida for the past year and have coached private, semi private and group sessions since moving here. I am committed to set and achieve my student’s goals which is why I like getting to know them. Whether you are a beginner or want to take your tennis game to the next level, I tailor my tennis instruction to each individual in order to offer the best experience possible. Tennis is a game that teaches many skills that can be applied outside of the court. I like to emphasize this in my lessons so students can see the benefits while having a great time!

I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!

I teach tennis lessons in the Miramar area, Aventura, North Miami, Midtown and Brickell. I will travel up to 10 miles to a court near you.
