Hello my name is Laura and I am a fun, local Memphis tennis coach with over 19 years of playing experience & over 6 years of teaching experience! I’m a former college tennis player originally from Spain, where I started playing tennis at just 4 years old. I came to the United States on a tennis scholarship to continue competing while pursuing my education. Throughout my career, I’ve competed in national and international tournaments. I was an All-American in college, won the conference tournament, and was named First Team All-Conference for two years. I was also honored with the Sportsmanship Award.
Most recently, I spent the summer coaching at the Beverly Hills Tennis Academy. Whether you’re a complete beginner, looking to improve your fundamentals, preparing for competition, or simply wanting to take your game to the next level, I’m happy to work with you. My goal is to make lessons enjoyable while helping each player build confidence, improve their technique, and reach their personal goals. I teach tennis lessons in the Memphis area but I will also travel up to 15 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located near you!
