Hello my name is Fedor and I am a fun, local Marina Del Rey tennis coach with over 20 years of playing experience and over 10 years of teaching experience! I am a 5 time National Champion in singles and doubles (under 18), I was in the Top 100 (ITF ranking), played Division 1 for Yale University (first team doubles). I have experience working with beginners, amateurs and have helped some of my students to a professional level. I usually start my practice with on-court dynamic warm-up, depending on the skill level of a student we might include several quick games inside of the service line (improving one’s ball touch). After the warm up, I usually focus on my student’s technique, movement-on-court, volleys and serve. The second half of practice usually consists of competitive games, where students implement what they learned in the first half of practice. My practices are always fun and the majority of them are in a game-like atmosphere on court.

I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!

I teach tennis lessons in the Marina Del Rey area but I will also travel up to 15 miles to a tennis court that’s conveniently located near you.
