Hello my name is Sebastian and I am a fun, local Los Angeles tennis coach with over 17 years of playing experience and over 6 years of teaching experience! Born in Mauritius, I grabbed a racquet at age 4 and never looked back. I started competing seriously at 10, practicing every day. Then I moved to the Netherlands at 13 to train full-time at the elite Amjoy Tennis Academy. I spent five high-performance years (13-18) sharpening technique, footwork, strategy & mental toughness alongside top European junior players. Now I compete for Stanton University in the U.S. college scene, bringing that same work ethic to every practice and match. I started coaching at 15 years old at Amjoy, helping players from all ages & all levels build solid fundamentals and competitive confidence. Here in Southern California I’ve worked with players of all levels, from beginners tightening their strokes to juniors prepping for USTA (United States Tennis Association) events. I teach tennis lessons in the Los Angeles area but I will also travel up to 15 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located close to you!
