About Michael
Hello my name is Michael and I am a fun, local Boynton Beach tennis coach with over 50 years of playing experience and over 40 years of teaching experience! I taught tennis independently in Atlanta for 22 years and maintained the highest rate in the city because my student following was so strong. I actually teach in a way that emphasizes improvement. I am not a member of any associations as I’ve never needed their support. For the past few summers, I’ve taught at the Pine Hollow Golf and Country Club and at private homes in the East Norwich, Long Island area. I still play a lot and two years ago I was ranked #3 in the United States in Singles in the Senior Division. I love working with seniors. I can help with stroke technique but strategy is my forte. I’ll take what you’ve got and show you how to win. I’ll help you overcome nerves and get you playing better on match day than you do on practice day. For instance, here’s something very simple: which side of the court is best for you and your partner and why. I specialize in improving serves. Back on Long Island, I was given the moniker, “The Serve Meister.” Not enough power? Can’t direct it? Tossing difficulties? No problem. I’ll make it better, fast! I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!
I teach tennis lessons in the Boynton Beach area at Aberdeen East (Le Chalet between Jog and Military just north of Gateway) but I will also travel up to 10 miles to a tennis court that is located near you.
